Self Catering at the Bunkhouse!

Canal Barn Bunkhouse has been designed principally for self-catering. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped to commercial standards, with 3 sinks, dishwasher, 2 cookers, fridge, fridge/freezer(small), microwave and toasters, as well as all the pots, pans and crockery you will need. The dining room is spacious allowing your group to all sit down together to enjoy your sumptuous banquet in comfort and style. French windows open out onto the garden where there are 2 barbecues and plenty of picnic tables, enabling you to eat ‘al fresco’ on those balmy summer evenings.

Locally produced food of an excellent quality is available from butchers (we recommend our own butcher Paddy Sweeney Tel: 01874 623428), green grocers, and a fishmonger found at the Market Hall in the centre of Brecon. Superb Ice Cream made on the premises is available from Llanfaes Dairy, Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop, 19 Bridge Street, Llanfaes, Brecon (Tel: 01874 625892). There is also a Morrisons Supermarket (Tel: 01874 620063) about 600 metres away that is open until 9pm on Friday and 4pm on Sunday.
