Canoeing is fun, energetic, and a great way to enjoy a day on and very likely in the water. The perfect place for beginners to learn is on the Canal right outside the Bunkhouse. The nearby river Usk is available during the winter months when there is plenty of fast flowing water to test even the more experienced canoeists. While the river Wye caters for all abilities all year around and is only a short drive away. The proximity of these venues together with our excellent drying, storage, and training facilities makes Canal Barn Bunkhouse the ideal base for canoe clubs and instructors running canoeing courses.
