The Green Dragon Environmental Standard is intended to provide organisations with the elements of an effective environmental management system that is appropriate to the nature and scale of their activities and operations. Canal Barn Bunkhouse has been awarded Level 2 of the Green Dragon Standard, which is the highest recommended for a Bunkhouse. The key environmental impact of the business is the effect that visitors to the Bunkhouse have on what is an environmentally sensitive area of Wales. Visitors are encouraged to help us to minimise the potentially negative impacts on the environment by following good recycling procedures and energy efficient practices in their use of the Bunkhouse. |
